Game Freak's co-founder and managing director has left the studio for senior role at The Pokemon Company

Game Freak’s managing director, Junichi Masuda, has left the Pokemon game studio.
Masuda left the studio he co-founded on May 31 to join The Pokemon Company as its chief creative fellow.
He has supported the Pokemon series for many years since the development of Pokemon Red and Green, and in his new position, he will be involved in the development of new services and products at The Pokemon Company.
