Infinity Ward Extends Modern Warfare & Warzone 2XP, Weapon XP, and 2X Tiers to May 8th
Infinity Ward has announced on their Twitter page that they will be extending the Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Tiers from last weekend up until May 8th due to issues that prevented some players to play the game during the previous double XP. This is what Joe Cecot, Co-design director of multiplayer at Infinity Award had to add to the recent extension of the double XP, “It’s really painful when we have issues that prevent players from playing our game. We feel and share your frustration. Thank you to the many devs who cranked through the weekend to get things on track again and thank you for your patience. Let’s get back on that grind!” Activision has also made a briefing post on the upcoming content and updates this week for both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone which includes many new game modes, store items, and more. The Call of Duty League has also offered a free charm for both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone for users who signs up to their newsletter.
As a token of our appreciation for your patience while we worked on a few bugs over the weekend, we’ve turned on 2XP, 2X Weapon XP, and 2X Tiers, live now until Friday, May 8th! pic.twitter.com/R1Vjbyp1KS
