Lil Tjay Releases “State of Emergency”
On May eighth Lil Tjay released his new mixtape “State of Emergency”. State of Emergency features rappers like Fivio Foreign, Pop Smoke, Sheff G, Sleepy Hallow, Jay Critch, J.I the Prince of N.Y, and Jay Gwaupo. State of Emergency has seven songs with a listening time of twenty-two minutes.
State of Emergency follows up Lil Tjay’s first project “True 2 Myself”. True 2 Myself had songs like F.N, Brothers (feat. Lil Durk), and Hold On. True 2 Myself had features from Rileyy Lanez, Jay Critch, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, and Lil Wayne. True 2 Myself was Lil Tjay’s first-ever project in the rap game. True 2 Myself went gold in the United States and Canada. The album also went in the top five on the US Billboard 200, US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and Canadian Albums.
Just yesterday (May 7th) Lil Tjay posted on Instagram saying, “LOTTA SH*T GOING ON RN .. AND IM JUST TRYNNA BE THE HELPING HAND TO MY CITY 🙏🏾 EVERY BODY NOT GON GET THIS BUT I KNOW WHAT THE STREETS NEED AND IMA FLOOD THEM ‼️ #StateOfEmergency #12Tonight 😈💥🗽” The Instagram post included the cover art and the tracklist.
Lil Tjay also posted on Instagram when the mixtape dropped saying, “NY STAND TF UP !💥‼️🔥 STATE OF EMERGENCY MIXTAPE OUT NOW !!🗣🗽”
