A New "The Last of Us Part II" Trailer Will Release Today

Naughty Dog revealed on Twitter earlier today (May fifth) that there would be a new The Last Of Us Part II trailer will be released on May sixth at 7:00am PT/9:00am CST/ 10:00am EST. They revealed this with a teaser on Twitter where you can hear character Ellie say, “I have to finish this” and then Joel responds, “There is a cost.” You can see the full teaser below:

This will be the first trailer of The Last Of Us sequel since the leaks of the game. You can see their response here. During a Sony State of Play in September 2019 announced the release date trailer for The Last of Us Part 2. The Last of Us Part II takes place five years after the events of the first game and about 25 years after the outbreak of the Cordyceps Brain Infection began. On April second Naughty Dog had to announce that The Last of Us Part II had been delayed due to the current corona virus pandemic.

On April twenty-seventh Playstation tweeted that their was an update to The Last of Us Part II. In the article it was revealed that the long awaited game with now be released on June 19, 2020.
