AMC Theaters No Longer Playing Universal Movies
AMC Theaters says they will no longer be playing Universal Pictures’ movies anymore. AMC came to this decision because of the release of “Trolls World Tour”. Trolls World Tour was supposed to come out in theaters, but because of Covid-19, that is not possible. Universal moved passed movie theaters and put Trolls World Tour for digital renting, and it was a success. Universal has earned over $100 million. AMC CEO Adam Aron announced the ban in a letter to Donna Langley a Universal chairman. Adam Aron told her that is was because of a quote from Jeff Shell the NBCUniversal CEO.
