Anthony “Methodz” Zinni has been a staple in the Call of Duty competitive scene since Black Ops 2 in 2012. Methodz started his career playing for the popular sniping clan SoaR Gaming in 2012 and grew to become one of the most recognizable names in the industry. Methodz has been on many notable teams and organizations such as FaZe Clan, Team Kaliber, Strictly Business, Elevate, Team Envy, Rise Nation, OpTic Gaming, G2 Esports, Toronto Ultra, and the Boston Breach.

Methodz has won a few tournaments throughout his career starting with his first-ever win in 2012 at NJ Halo Codzilla 2012. His other tournament wins are UMG Chicago 2012 2v2 Tournament, and the CWL Atlanta Open 2018. His other achievement is being one of the staples of the Call of Duty scene and being a big part of the game being franchised by Activision. His earnings are also a huge staple making $234,829.56 from Call of Duty.

The Call of Duty community has also reacted to his retirement with ZooMaa saying, “love you brother, wish you nothing but the best you’re going to kill it in content”. TacticalRab said, “Damn, we lost another one. GGs Methodz, and congrats on a legendary career”, Pred said, “Congratulations on your career my brother.. nothing but love for you”, Nero his current teammate said, “The past year, and a half has been nothing but a pleasure teaming with you much love and hope great success for you going forward”. Many other competitors and friends from the scene have come forward and given him all the love he could have imagined. Watch the video of his announcement below:

As for my thoughts, I myself have been watching Call of Duty since Black Ops 2 and have also admired Methodz. Methodz has an amazing personality and his streams on Twitch are always a blast to watch. He makes anything he plays on his stream entertaining. He is also a huge motivation, by many accounts he has had a tough career but he never gave up and he always keeps pushing and he is one of the driving forces for Call of Duty being what it is today. Methodz will definitely have success doing full-time content and I can’t wait for what he has in the works. Please supports Methodz on Twitch.
