Dallas Cowboys signs Andy Dalton to a One-Year Deal
The former Cincinnati Bengals Quarterback has reportedly signed a $7 million deal with $3 million guaranteed with the Dallas Cowboys, per Adam Schefter. Andy Dalton has spent the past nine years with the Cincinnati Bengals and has a record of 70-61 for the games he has played alongside 204 touchdowns and 118 interceptions. Based on Dak Prescott’s past years with the cowboys, it is without a doubt that Andy will be the backup quarterback to Prescott. Prescott has a record of 40-24 with 97 touchdowns and 36 interceptions. Dalton will not have to find a new home to move in because the Texas native currently resides in Texas so this move makes sense for the Dalton to come back home. Although the Cincinnati Bengals and Andy Dalton did not do much in the playoffs in his nine years there, he now has a better defense and offense to coincide with his new role with the team. Andy Dalton signing with the Dallas Cowboys was another great steal by them in picking up a former pro bowl quarterback as there back-up. More NFL offseason news will be posted here.
