Andrew Wilson the CEO of EA confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the start of a New Franchise. Andrew Wilson said this during an earnings call saying that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a “first title in an entirely new franchise.” This is the first time that it was confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is not a one and done game. Blake Jorgensen, CFO at EA said Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order “significantly beat our expectations”. This was said after it was confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was expected to sell 10 million units. In December of 2019, EA posted a job listing to “fill senior positions on the Star Wars team”. This is the first hint that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order could possibly have a sequel. With the amount of success that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order had it is not hard to believe they would want a sequel. In the posting of the job it said they are looking for someone who is, “invigorated by the idea of coding third-person action/adventure games.” Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is canon and it includes characters from Star Wars media such as the Second Sister. The main character named Cal Kestis, is voiced by famous actor Cameron Monaghan who has played in Shameless, and Gotham.
