Summit1g Voice Frustrations With Valorants Aiming System
Popular Twitch streamer Summit1g was recently in the news for hinting at a possible move to mixer, his opinion on 24/7 Valorant streams, and monster energy cutting him as a partner. Summit1g has voiced his frustration with Valorants aiming system. When playing Valorant there is a slow walk feature that slows down your movement and makes it where enemies can not hear your footsteps. There is a regular walk that is like a running type of animation. In Counter-Strike you can not run or walk and shoot accurately at the same time, but in Valorant you can do the running fast animation and shoot very accurately.
In this clip, Summit1g shoots accurately while walking and says, “This is hogwash.” He continues to say, “In a game like this you should have to counter strafe to shoot.” He finished the clip by saying, “That is where the skill comes into Counter-Strike.”
In this second clip, Summit1g talks about not getting as punished as you should for certain plays you make such as going around a corner. Summit1g said, “When you stop completely you stop on a dime, it is too fast.” Summit1g continued to say, “Someone was telling me that they were making their shoot button and their slow walk button to the same bind.”
