Trent Williams Traded to the San Francisco 49ers for Two Draft Picks
There were a lot of speculations during the season and offseason of Trent being traded to another team. It has finally gone into fruition and he has been traded to the San Francisco 59ers for two draft picks. In this trade, the 49ers receive offensive tackle Trent Williams and the Washington Redskins receive a 3rd Round Pick in 2021 and the 156th Draft pick in 2020. The 49ers likely went for this trade because their 35-year-old star offensive tackle Joe Staley has now retired over health concerns and Trent Williams would be presumably taking his place. Trent is an elite offensive tackle and will be a great fit for the San Francisco 49ers who had made the NFL Super Bowl lasts season but came up short against the Kansas City Chiefs. Welcome to the family, @TrentW71!
