UFC 249 Fight Card Revealed and Three Events in 8 Days
In what seems to be the most stacked UFC fight card ever, Dana White has told ESPN journalist Brett Okamoto that the UFC is planning to host events on May 9, May 13, and May 16. There are some fights announced so far that is Tony Ferguson vs Justin Gaethje, Henry Cejudo vs Dominick Cruz, Francis Ngannou vs Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Jeremy Stephens vs Calvin Katter, Greg Hardy vs Yorgan De Castro, Anthony Pettis vs Donald Cerrone, Fabricio Werdum vs Alexey Oleynik, Carla Esparza vs Michelle Waterson, Ronaldo Souza vs Uriah Hall, Vicente Luque vs Niko Price, Charles Rosa vs Bryce Mitchell, and Ryan Spann vs Sam Alvey. All of these fights are all in one fight card for UFC 249 in Jacksonville, Florida. Dana White looks to keep the dates after these events on time and continue his “fight island” so he will be able to have international fights for the UFC. He then mentioned to Brett Okamoto on his IG live saying “Fight Island should be up and running in June. So I should be able to start running international events in June. From May 9 to May 23, we’ll knock out four shows. And then in June we can start international stuff on the island.”
