“Lil Durk Presents: Loyal Bros 2” Album Review
Lil Durk has released his new album “Lil Durk Presents: Loyal Bros 2” this is not a regular Lil Durk album. This album is more about putting his friends on a platform and giving them a chance to shine and blow up. Everyone needs a friend like Lil Durk to do this for them. The album was released on December 16th, 2022. The album has a run time of 57 minutes and 9 seconds, and for this album, I will be putting who is on the song then the song title then what I feel about the song.
- Lil Durk – Set It Off – This is a drill song the beat is magnificent and it has an excellent energetic feeling to it. He does decently well the entire song, but there is a part where he slows down and it throws me off personally. It just doesn’t fit in my opinion 0/10
- Lil Durk, Future – Mad Max – Future does a great job opening this song. Lil Durk came in crazy and went off and showed his impact immediately. This song is absolutely amazing definitely playlist material. 10/10
- Lil Durk – Hanging With Wolves – He starts off the song going crazy and his first verse sets an insanely high bar. He never lets up the entire song I give this one a 10/10.
- Doodie Lo, Kodak Black – ISTG, PT.2 – Doodie Lo starts off the song swearing to god about multiple different things. Kodak went in on his verse also swearing to god about many things. I like the beat of the song the energy just seems very low and meh. 5/10.
- OTF Boonie Moe – For Real – Boonie Moe sounds very mumbly I can understand what he is saying but it is throwing me off. The beat is also low energy and he seems very monotone. 0/10
- Doodie Lo, THR LIL LAW, THR Omerta – NLMG – The beat sounds very good. Doodie Lo sounds much better on this song. The hook to this song is very good and high energy and vibey. The song feels unnecessarily long in my opinion and is gets repetitive. 5/10
- Booka600, Lil Durk – Feed Em Addy’s – The beat is very vibey and im enjoying it. Lil Durk is talking about life and he says he will never put his money before his friends. Booka keeps the same energy and it sounds very good. I will like this it is definitely playlist material. 10/10
- OTF Boonie Moe, King Von – We Did It – I feel the song would be better if OTF Boonie Moe had more emotion when rapping. He is just monotone and I do not enjoy it. King Von’s verse was very good. 5/10
- Deeski, Lil Zay Osama – Seen It All – The song starts with Deeski going crazy. Lil Zay Osama slowed the song down a little but it still sounds good. I give this song a 10/10 it’s a nice hype song.
- Chief Wuk – Ain’t Hiding – The beat is very good. It sounds like Chief Wuk does not have much experience rapping but it definitely sounds like he has potential. Parts of this song sounds amazing but for instance at parts during the hook, it sounds underwhelming. Keep an eye on Chief Wuk’s career. 10/10
- Doodie Lo, PGF Nuk – Savage Shit – This song starts off amazing with Doodie and PGF Nuk going back to back. I really like this song, it is definitely playlist material 10/10
- Thf Zoo, BIG30 – Mad Cuz I’m Rich – Zoo starts off the song doing crazy from the beginning. Big 30 did well I enjoyed his verse. I give this song a 10/10
- Lil Durk, Deeski – Block Is Hot – Lil Durk starts off the song going absolutely wild. I am enjoying this a lot from the beginning. Deeski keeps up with Lil Durk in my opinion and I am loving it. Definitely playlist material 10/10
- Doodie Lo, Chief Wuk – Thug Life – At this point in the album every song is sounding the same and if the energy is not high it just feels meh. 5/10
- OTF Jam – Federal Freestyle – Jam sounds very good and is doing very good. It does sound like he is in a low end studio. Jam went absolutely crazy definitely playlist material and 10/10
- Lil Durk, OTF Chugg – Out The Way – A issue I have with some of the people is that they do not have experience with rapping. Some of them are rapping like they are very shy. I give credit to Lil Durk for pushing his friends and giving them a platform. Lil Durk does very well on this song. Chugg definitely has some sparks of talent but underwhelming mostly. 5/10
- Noza Jordan – Forever – The beat is definitely a slower type of song. I will say it sounds like he is using too much autotune on the hook. His verses are very good. The hook is the low point for me. 10/10
- Lil Durk, Esparo, Booka600 – Please Breathe – Seems like a slower type of song. Lil Durk is talking about his pain in this song. Esparo kept with the same energy and has an amazing voice. Booka did amazing on this song definitely a 10/10 and playlist material.
- C3 – Never Saw Em – This song goes back to drill. This song is cool not exceptionally good but it’s a vibe. 5/10
- Lil Durk – Threats To Everybody – This song is absolutely starting off crazy. Absolute greatness from Lil Durk 10/10 and playlist material.
- Doodie Lo – Who Are You – Doodie Lo does pretty well during this song. Trippie Redd sounds like he is using more autotune than usual. I give this one a 5/10.
- Hypno Carlito – Silly Rabbit – Hypno does amazing in this song and creates an amazing vibe. I give this song a 10/10
- Booka600 – Menace – I personally do not like this song at all. It just does not sound like it’s for Booka600. 0/10
There are many different artists on this album some very known some not known. The ones I will highlight are definitely Hypno Carlito, Noza Jordan, and Chief Wuk. I would not be surprised if any of them broke through the music industry. Altogether I have given this album a 7/10. You can listen to the album here and give your own opinions.
